Acting the Song
Receive individualized coaching to strengthen your character specificity and vocal technique. Accompanist provided. Come prepared with a song of your choosing for each class. Songs should be memorized with sheet music in a binder. Class takes place in a group setting to promote observational learning and community support.
INSTRUCTOR | BRETT TERESA
Brett Teresa has spent over 15 years living and working in NYC as an AEA actor, director, producer, writer, and audition coach. Originally from the Sacramento area, he has now partnered with Broadway Sacramento to bring his professional expertise back to his hometown. Brett attended the University of California, Irvine where he studied musical theatre performance and directing. As a director he has worked both professionally and within the educational system at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (NYC), Stagedoor Manor, Inside Broadway, Wanderlust Theatre Company, Broadway Kids Auditions and Celebrity Cruises Productions. As an audition coach, Brett maintains an acting and vocal technique studio with clients appearing in such Broadway shows as Hamilton, Beetlejuice, Wicked, Les Misérables, Annie, Godspell, The Music Man, Anastasia, Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark, Hair and Evita.

Spring Session: May 9, 16, 23, 30
Summer: August 8, 15, 22, 29
Tuition: $200 per session ($50 per class)
