The SAFE Credit Union Convention and Performing Arts District Box Office sells single-show tickets to Broadway On Tour and is the primary box office for all public, ticketed events held at the SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center, Memorial Auditorium and Convention Center. The Broadway Sacramento Box Office located at 1419 H Street, Sacramento, is now open for in-person transactions Monday through Friday from 12PM – 5PM.
The SAFE Credit Union Convention and Performing Arts District Box Office, attached to the theatre at 1301 L Street, is open two hours prior to events on performance days. Business is for that event only. On event nights, the SAFE Credit Union Convention and Performing Arts District Box Office will remain open 15 minutes into the performance.
Single-show tickets for Broadway On Tour shows will be available online. Check show pages for on-sale dates.
All ticket orders placed online including links through and from this website are commercial transactions and will be subject to our ticketing policies, including a per-ticket processing fee (typically totaling from 15% to 18% of the purchase price). Mobile Ticket Via Account
Mobile Ticket(s) are available for single show tickets purchased online through Broadwaysacramento.com only. If you selected this delivery method for your online purchase, you will be sent an email with a link approximately 2 weeks prior to your performance date. This link will allow you to sign into your Broadway Sacramento account and access your Upcoming Events page. Your mobile ticket(s) can be accessed from this page starting six (6) hours prior to your performance. All patrons with tickets for the same performance under this Broadway Sacramento account must scan their tickets and enter the venue at the same time. This option does not allow for the transfer of tickets. Print-outs or screenshots of mobile tickets will not be accepted.
If you selected this delivery method for your ticket purchase of HAMILTON, tickets will be mailed approximately two weeks prior to your show. For online ticket purchases, the default delivery method is Mail. (All mailed tickets for HAMILTON, including subscription tickets, will have Delayed Mail Delivery.)
Purchase a Gift Certificate
Gift certificates are available online or by calling (916) 557-1999. Gift certificates may be used only for ticketed events produced by Broadway Sacramento. These include Broadway On Tour and Broadway At Music Circus tickets purchased through the Broadway Sacramento Box Office or through our Group Sales department. They may also be redeemed towards classes through our Education Department. They cannot be used for concessions or merchandise of any kind. Gift Certificates never expire and are non-refundable.
Will Call / 3rd Party Will Call
Will Call opens beginning two hours prior to the performance, at the performance venue. Will call customers may be asked to present valid photo I.D. or the actual credit card used to purchase the tickets or verify the purchasers name and address in order to have tickets released.
The Box Office will NOT accept 3rd party Will Call from ticket brokers or resellers.
The Box office will accept 3rd party/drop-off Will Call beginning 30 minutes prior to performance time on ticket. This service is provided for our patrons attending the event who have a member or members of their party running late.
Customers will be required to fill out a third-party will call envelope and include tickets. Customers who wish to leave tickets at Will Call do so at their own risk. The Box Office does not assume any responsibility for any illegible or unclaimed third-party Will Call tickets.
Group tickets are available by calling the Group Sales department at (916) 557-1198 or emailing [email protected]. Group ticket sales are not available at the SAFE Credit Union Convention and Performing Arts District Box Office or Broadway Sacramento Box Offices. The Group Sales department is open Monday through Friday, 12PM to 5PM.
Tickets for Broadway On Tour productions at the SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center have a $4.00 per ticket facility fee included in the ticket price. COME FROM AWAY was postponed and will now be presented in the SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center and will have a $3.00 facility fee included in the ticket price. Broadway Sacramento always includes the facility fee in the ticket prices published in our brochures and on our website.
Fees For Phone & Mail Order
Phone orders for single-show Broadway On Tour tickets carry a $5.50 per ticket fee. Phone or mail season ticket orders for Broadway On Tour (handled only through the Broadway Sacramento Box Office) carry a $2 per ticket fee. Processing fees are non-refundable.
Single-show tickets purchased through the SAFE Credit Union Convention and Performing Arts District Box Office/Ticketmaster.com have their own fee schedule.
Fees For Online Orders
Online ticket orders are subject to a per-ticket processing fee, which typically totals from 15% to 18% of the purchase price. Processing fees are non-refundable.
Fees For In Person Orders
Single-show tickets purchased in person are not charged a processing fee. Season subscriptions, until tickets are able to be distributed are subject to a $2 per ticket processing fee.
Children under four (including babes in arms) will not be admitted.
Late Seating Policy
Late arriving audience members may be held out until the first appropriate seating opportunity. Late seating holds are in place for the convenience of the performers and audience members who are seated at show time. The length of the late seating hold varies by production and is set in consultation with the production artistic staff.
COVID-19 SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
By purchasing tickets, you understand that everyone who enters the theatre will need to comply with the measures in place at the time of your performance.
Refund & Exchange Policy For HAMILTON, AN OFFICER & A GENTLEMAN, and CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY
Due to the current uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, Broadway Sacramento has updated the Refund and Exchange Policy for the engagements of HAMILTON, AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN and CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY. At this time the standard Refund and Exchange Policy will be in place for all other shows.
If a performance is cancelled, all tickets will be refunded or credited to the ticket purchaser’s account.
If you are not feeling well on the day of your HAMILTON, AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN or CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY performance, we encourage you to stay home and not attend the event. On the day of your performance, before coming to the venue we ask that each person attending take the Coronavirus Self-Checker on the CDC Website:
Under the following circumstances, Broadway Sacramento will permit you to either exchange your tickets for a performance of HAMILTON, AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN and CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY at a later date, or if an exchange is not possible or not practical (for example, if tickets for a later date are not available), refund your ticket purchase:
- You or someone in your party has tested positive for COVID-19 during the 14-day period preceding the event;
- You or someone in your party is not feeling well during the 14-day period preceding the event and has exhibited symptoms consistent with COVID-19; or
- You otherwise feel that you represent a significant transmission risk, e.g., you are caring for someone that has COVID-19 or is not feeling well.
- You or someone in your party is unable to comply with our COVID-19 Safety Requirements.
If any of the above circumstances apply, please contact the Broadway Sacramento Box Office as soon as possible to request an exchange or refund, (916) 557-1999.
Ticket exchanges and refunds will only be considered when the original tickets are purchased through one of these authorized primary sales channels: BroadwaySacramento.com or the Broadway Sacramento Box Office.
Tickets purchased through Group Sales cannot be exchanged or refunded; please contact your Group Leader if you have questions about your Group tickets.
If you have purchased through Ticketmaster or the SAFE Credit Union Convention and Performing Arts District Box Office , please consult them regarding their policies.
Refund or exchange requests can only be done by phone at (916) 557-1999 and will only be considered up until three (3) hours prior to your performance time.
Patrons requesting a refund or exchange must confirm the name of the original purchaser along with additional account or ticket details. For approved refunds, refunds can only be made back to the original method of payment. For approved exchanges, tickets may only be exchanged to another performance date or time of HAMILTON, AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN or CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, subject to availability and other restrictions. The amount of money paid on the original ticket will be applied to the exchanged ticket. If there is additional money due, that amount must be paid to complete the exchange. No exchange fees will be charged. In the case of refunds, the full purchase price will be refunded, including facility fee and service charges.
Broadway Sacramento reserves the right to deny refunds or exchanges for any purchaser that it believes is a broker or ticket reseller. Given the uncertainties surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, Broadway Sacramento reserves the right to shorten or extend this temporary policy at any time. Other restrictions may apply.
Ticket Availability and Pricing
For all Broadway On Tour shows, tickets are subject to availability and prices are subject to change. Tickets should be purchased early to lock in ticket prices and seats.
Tickets are revocable licenses, and Broadway Sacramento reserves the right to invalidate tickets and suspend future sales for anyone caught or suspected of reselling those tickets for more than face value.
For the comfort, safety and security of all patrons, Broadway Sacramento reserves the right to search all bags for security reasons.
No firearms or weapons of any kind will be allowed in the theater. Patrons found in possession of weapons or other prohibited items will be asked to remove the items from the theater.
