Job Title: Media Buyer

Classification: Full time, on-site

Salary Range: $70,500 – $74,000

Responsibilities

  • Play key role in the planning and implementation of Broadway Sacramento’s multiple ticket sales-oriented marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with appropriate colleagues on budgeting and planning multi-platform advertising buys for the Broadway At Music Circus and Broadway On Tour series of shows.
  • Ensure that marketing campaigns employ data-driven strategies and utilize emerging technologies such as AI-enabled tools when applicable.
  • Negotiate pricing, reserve inventory and traffic creative for advertising buys.
  • Oversee agency that handles digital advertising.
  • Track ticket sales to measure impact of campaign components.
  • Develop promotions with media and other partners when applicable.
  • Write copy as needed.
  • Manage Marketing department budget and accounting needs.
  • Oversee paid and trade advertising in playbills for Broadway At Music Circus and Broadway On Tour shows.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with media buying in live entertainment field. 
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple advertising campaigns and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel.

Preferred

  • Media buying experience in the Sacramento market.
  • Familiarity with or interest in musical theatre genre.
  • Experience with project management software.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
