KISS ME, KATE: JULY 12 – 17, 2022

The cast of KISS ME, KATE features veterans of New York City’s Broadway stages and Broadway At Music Circus favorites, as well as actors appearing at the Sacramento institution for the first time. Playing the role of Fred Graham is Chris Hoch, who has performed on Broadway in a number of shows, including WAR PAINT, AMAZING GRACE, MATILDA THE MUSICAL, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, SPAMALOT and DRACULA, as well is in National Tours including Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and MARY POPPINS. After making her Broadway At Music Circus debut as Princess Fiona in the 2019 production of SHREK THE MUSICAL, Kristen Beth Williams returns to play Lilli Vanessi; her Broadway credits include PARADISE SQUARE, HELLO, DOLLY!, PIPPIN, NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT, ANYTHING GOES and PROMISES, PROMISES.

Making her Broadway At Music Circus debut as Lois Lane is Emma Degerstedt, who has performed in numerous off-Broadway and regional productions, including DESPERATE MEASURES, Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID, RAGTIME, LEGALLY BLONDE and SMOKEY JOE’S CAFÉ, as well as a variety of films and television shows. Also making his Broadway At Music Circus debut in the role of Bill Calhoun is Michael Starr, whose National Tour and regional credits include BRIGHT STAR, SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN, ROMY & MICHELE THE MUSICAL, MAMMA MIA! and A CHORUS LINE. Playing Hattie is Broadway At Music Circus favorite Jennifer Leigh Warren, who most recently played the role of Dragon in the 2019 production of SHREK THE MUSICAL, and whose Broadway and off-Broadway credits include BIG RIVER, MARIE CHRISTINE and LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, and who has performed in National Tours and regional theatre companies nationwide. Playing Paul in his Broadway At Music Circus debut is Dana Orange, whose regional theatre credits include SHREK THE MUSICAL, Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID, CHOIR BOY, RAGTIME, IN THE HEIGHTS and SISTER ACT.

Returning to Broadway At Music Circus following his 2019 performance as Underling in THE DROWSY CHAPERONE is audience favorite Stuart Marland, who performed on Broadway in XANADU, JEKYLL & HYDE, CYRANO – THE MUSICAL, and Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and NEWSIES, and in a number of National Tours. Carlos Lopez, who performed on Broadway in MAN OF LA MANCHA, GREASE, ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, WONDERFUL TOWN, A CHORUS LINE, PAJAMA GAME, GRAND HOTEL and GUYS AND DOLLS and off-Broadway in ROMEO AND BERNADETTE, THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL, A BRONX TALE and THE ADDAMS FAMILY, plays First Man. Audience favorite Ron Wisniski, who has performed in more than 30 Broadway At Music Circus productions, returns as Second Man; he has performed in National Tours including Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, TINTYPES and ANNIE and in more than 200 plays and musicals at regional theatres nationwide. Mark Campbell, making his Broadway At Music Circus debut playing Harrison Howell, was most recently in PERFECT CRIME, New York City’s longest-running play, and has appeared in National Tours including Disney’s THE LION KING, MAMMA MIA!, GUYS AND DOLLS and THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, as well as numerous regional theatres around the country.

The cast of KISS ME, KATE also includes Whitney Cooper, Rachael Britton Hart, Laura Sky Herman, Rose Iannaccone, Akina Kitazawa, Jimin Moon, Kenneth Michael Murray, Cole Newburg, Elyse Niederee, Dennis O’Bannion, Trevor Michael Schmidt, Audrey Biehl Simmons, Omari Tau and Cayel Tregeagle.
