Reports To: Director of Ticketing & Analytics
Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000 + benefits

Job Summary

The Database Administrator is the primary liaison and contact with Tessitura, Broadway Sacramento’s platform for patron data, event ticketing and fundraising, and acts as the technology point person for Tessitura utilization, configuration, customization, integration and ad-hoc needs.  The Database Administrator is also the primary liaison with True Tickets, Broadway Sacramento’s digital tickets delivery service, and Queue-it, the company that facilitates Broadway Sacramento’s virtual waiting room that’s utilized for anticipated high demand pre-sales and on-sales.  Both True Tickets and Queue-it are integrated with Tessitura for a seamless user experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with internal departments to leverage existing tools within Tessitura to help meet departmental and organizational goals.
  • Set a standard of data entry and monitor data entry by other employees for data continuity.
  • Provide technical support and administration while recommending process improvements across the system and ensure quality work across departments.
  • Project manage and troubleshoot full system upgrades and TNEW upgrades as well as routinely scheduling LIVE to TEST copies.
  • Research and extend the functionality of our system with custom views, output sets and reporting.
  • Identify, develop and facilitate training to user groups and offer any specialized sessions as needed.
  • Coordinate all database and related software integration and upgrades.
  • Ensure and promote optimal data hygiene, wealth screening and the maintenance of stored procedures.
  • Oversee email integration and list building training and email template merges.
  • Co-manage, with the Director of Ticketing & Analytics, database security and control groups.
  • Assist departments in creation of user manuals for best practices.
  • Build new season ticket packages – campaigns, appeals, sources, performances and associated mode of sales, price layers and keywords.
  • Assist in creation of event for Education master classes, TNEW Development needs, setup of promo codes and pre-sale setups for sales via TNEW.
  • Work with Marketing department to coordinate and implement any ticket discounts or special offers.
  • Work with Marketing to maintain the integration of our front-end website’s integration with TNEW and patron web flow.
  • Provide set up in TNEW for GA4 tracking, working with Marketing and digital advertising representative on any specific tour needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Tessitura software and ticketing systems required.
  • College graduate or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability for organization and project management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word and Excel. Knowledge of SQL, HTML, SSMS, and SSRS. CSS, C#, Razor, JavaScript and Visual Studio beneficial.
