Come From Away originally scheduled for May 19 – 24 at Memorial Auditorium, will be postponed until next year, June 29 – July 4, 2021 and will be held at SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center
Due to the most recent mandate pertaining to the coronavirus pandemic, the Broadway On Tour presentation of Come From Away, originally scheduled for May 19 – 24 at Memorial Auditorium, will be postponed until next year, June 29 – July 4, 2021. And because of the date change, it will take place at the newly-renovated SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center (formerly Community Center Theater).
While we’re thrilled to be able to present this remarkable production in the new facility, the fact that it’s an entirely different seating configuration means that we’ll have to reseat all patrons who have purchased tickets. Since the May engagement was close to sold out, we have nearly 15,000 tickets to process, so reseating will likely take 3 – 4 months.
We will be contacting patrons in the standard order that we process tickets, beginning with season subscribers, followed by group ticketholders, and then single-show ticketholders. We will open remaining ticket inventory to new sales once we have reseated ticketholders for the originally scheduled engagement.
Please note that when we contact you in the coming months with your new seating locations, you will have options besides accepting those locations. Also note that it will help us get through the reseating process as orderly and quickly as possible if you do not contact us about this prior to hearing from us. This reseating process will take longer than usual because we want to provide current ticketholders time to respond once we’ve contacted them.
We greatly appreciate your patience as we navigate this challenging time—and look forward to seeing you at the theatre in the near future!
